Staatsschauspiel Dresden

03 & 10 March

Explore Nazi Germany's alternate reality in Staatsschauspiel Dresden's 'VATERLAND'.

Director Claudia Bauer adapts Robert Harris’ bestseller 'VATERLAND‘ set in 1964 Germany. However, you will encounter no GDR or FRG here, but a historical fiction that imagines a different and terrifying course of events after the National Socialist Party wins World War II.

A story of totalitarianism, disinformation and propaganda highlighting the inevitability of historical courses and the influence of individuals on them. Catch this thrilling play on 3 & 10 March.
