Antidote Conference

Dakh Theatre - Centre of Contemporary Art 24 - 26 June 2025

The national conference “AntIDote: Unity” to bring together the state, culture, and communities for a common future

June 24–26, 2025, the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv will host “AntIDote: Unity”, a large-scale conference and platform for dialogue on cultural policy, societal cohesion, and the role of the global Ukrainian community.

The event will bring together artists, public officials, researchers, civil society leaders, and business representatives to develop a shared vision for rebuilding Ukraine. The focus will go beyond diagnosing the traumas of war — the aim is to construct a new Ukrainian narrative, trust infrastructure, and a culture of cooperation.

Key topics include:
● How can culture become an infrastructure of unity?
● What is the mission of Ukrainians abroad: from victims to active agents?
● How do local initiatives create new points of solidarity and connection?
● What is the role of education in building a culture of dialogue?
● How can art and culture reshape Ukraine’s national narrative?

Participants will engage in panel discussions, TED-style talks, strategic working groups, and informal exchanges.
The conference will culminate in the presentation of a vision document, including coordinated recommendations for the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications and the Ministry of National Unity on:
● cultural diplomacy,
● public-private partnerships,
● and the development of networks for Ukrainian unity both in the country and abroad.
