Workshop on Application-Oriented Data Processing Using Motion Capturing

Theatre in the Digital Age

As part of the continuing education programme of the Dortmund "Academy for Theatre and Digitality", the Dortmund company Puppeteers and the virtual reality collective Cyber Räuber will give an exclusive application-oriented workshop for ETC Member Theatres on motion capturing and depth information (Lidar Data). The focus is on practical instructions on how real actor bodies can be transformed into digital bodies in a virtual (stage) reality with the help of a simple and application-oriented motion capturing system.

The workshop is open for artistic, dramaturgical and technical team members of your theatres. 

 

Grants Available

ETC arranges and covers your hotel accommodation and pays a travel grant of €300 upon receipt of invoice. Places are limited and reservation is based on a first-come-first-served basis.
