Theatre Networking Talents
International Young Theatre Directors Showcase

3rd edition, 27-30 June 2019, Craiova/Romania

The applications for the 3rd edition of the International Festival for Young Directors Theatre Networking Talents are now open!

The "Marin Sorescu" National Theatre from Craiova (Romania) is looking for 2019 alumni of theatre directing (BA or MA programmes) from Romania and abroad.

The Theatre Networking Talents Festival is a presentation platform for young directors – an important first contact of the fresh graduates with the professional theatre environment of Romania. The young graduates are invited to present their diploma work (theatre performance) and meet future colleagues, collaborators, theatre managers, artistic directors, independent producers or festival programmers.

Starting with this year’s edition, the competition and the jury will be replaced by the attendance at the festival of the representatives of over twenty Romanian theatres (managers, artistic directors, programmers), who are encouraged to offer the graduates invitations for further collaborations in their future theatrical seasons. Concerning the "Marin Sorescu" National Theatre, the artistic director, Vlad Dragulescu, will select one of the participating graduates to stage a new performance at I.D. Sîrbu hall, in 2020.
