TalentLAB at Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg goes digital with a series of online events from 3 June to 3 July 2020.
In this frame, the webinar "Communicating in times of crisis, and after" will take place on 17 June from 15:00 to 17:00 CET. This discussion will be in French.
The current situation has shown us to what extent our usual habits are put to the test in times of crisis, particularly in the area of communication and public relations. The interruption of rehearsals and programming on the national and international stages has led, after an initial moment of information sharing around show cancellations and postponements, to a time of uncertainty and hesitation, a questioning of some communication practices from before the crisis, a more or less accentuated slowdown of activity on social networks and, for many structures, a more personal and interactive digital communication with the audience.
In their discussion, participants will analyse the various models they have implemented in their respective environments throughout lockdown to maintain contact with their audiences, and will consider what form after lockdown communication can or should take. How will we reconnect with our audiences after this new era and bring them back to our theatres? Will we move closer to a model of communication in which the analogue and digital worlds will be part of the same theatrical adventure and will complement each other?
