What will become of the children in the sandbox? Those who live in the same box, those who dig in the same sand, those who are tormented by the question: how should we live with each other?
'Sandlådan' is one of three parts in Kent Andersson's society-tickling Gothenburg trilogy, which also includes Flotten och Hemmet (which was written together with Bengt Bratt). The performance is a journey through all phases of life, from childhood games in the sandbox to the challenges of adulthood.
The new premiere at the Folkteatern is directed by Kim Lantz, who last spring was acclaimed for the title role in Quasimodo. Since 1981, Kim Lantz has repeatedly directed amateur theatre performances at Folkteatern, including Breaking the Waves, The Clinic and Utflykten.
