07 - 10 June 2018
Det Norske Teatret, Oslo/Norway
The conference presented new digital technologies resulting from the two year project “European Theatre Lab: Drama goes digital”. The programme aimed at discussing the different approaches to high-tech and low-tech, their possible connections and future developments as well as the limits of digitalisation within theatre. Taking place during the “Heddadagene” Festival, the conference also explored contemporary Norwegian theatre aesthetics, topics and developments.
Artistic debates, keynote speeches by international experts, workshops and a space for networking with peers and colleagues from all over Europe, as well as a joint session with the European Music Council and performances in the frame of the “Heddadagene” Festival characterised the programme of the next ETC International Theatre Conference in Oslo.
