Unusually for August, the Drama Company of Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava, Slovakia, will re-open for audiences after a recent break. Slovak and international audiences will have a chance to cool down in the chilled auditorium this month with a series of classic pieces.
The iconic War and Peace will be directed by Marián Amsler. Next, the powerful Russian Diaries by Ala Rachmanovova will be directed by Roman Polák. The intimate Escaped Alone by extraordinary playwright Caryl Churchill will also play this month, with all three shows presented with English subtitles.
