Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers is delighted to welcome ETC Member Theatres to their new theatre on the occasion of Christophe Rauck’s upcoming production Almost Equal, Almost Brother, by Swedish writer Jonas Hassen Khemiri!
Presented as a diptych and in a bi-frontal configuration, ≈ [Almost Equal To] and I Call My Brothers expose the power of money and the fear of the Other in Western societies. Khemiri’s writing challenges conventions and dismantles stereotypes. By playing with language and styles, his theatre transforms words — reflecting society’s inequalities — into a powerful tool for resistance and self-expression.
Come to our Opening Night on Thursday, 28 January 2026 - or extend your stay in Paris to see both Christophe Rauck’s production along with Kirill Serebrennikov’s Barocco, which we are presenting on 5 & 6 February (e.g. Barocco Thu 5 Feb 8:30pm and Almost Equal, Almost Brother Fri 6 Feb 8pm)
