The Drama Company of Slovak National Theatre would like to highlight mainly online activities which in these times are almost the only way to approach our audience. We are offering older performances but also an actual selection of our repertoire. We emphasize the model of live streaming performances. The newest, Sin / Her Stepdaughter, directed by Matúš Bachynec, will take place at the end of April. For children, we would like to offer the fairytale How the Woodbreaker Became the King, directed by Ondrej Spišák.
In meantime, backstage, we are rehearsing two new performances. One is focused on an iconic personality of cinematography and theatre – Scenes from the Life of director (Ingmar Bergman) by Roman Polák. Another, written by extraordinary British playwright Caryl Churchill, calld Escaped Alone, is directed by Eduard Kudláč.
The audio podcast SME Národné about our current theatre and backstage life with popular voices from our theatre is available on every popular podcast platform.
