Žad Novak

Žad graduated with a degree in German Language, Comparative Literature with a minor in Theatre Studies at the University of Glasgow, after an exchange year at FU Berlin. She holds a Joint MA Degree in European Societies, Politics and Culture in Global Context from University of Göttingen and University of Groningen. From 2015 to 2023, Žad worked as a project-based assistant director at Croatian National Theatre Zagreb, Zagreb Youth Theatre, Gavella Theatre Zagreb, Zagreb Puppet Theatre and Tron Theatre Glasgow; and has done two Regiehospitanzen at Schaubühne Berlin and Deutsches Theater Göttingen. In that period, she also took on different roles with the Edinburgh Fringe Society during festival months. She joined ETC in September 2023 as a Project Management intern and transitioned into her Project Management and Administration Assistant role in March 2024.
