We're thrilled to launch the open call for the second round of ETC Research & Development Sprints of our Digital Theatre Programme! You can now apply for funding to support digital project development between two ETC Member Theatres with the consultancy of the Academy for Theatre and Digitality.

The ETC Performance & Collaboration Grant supports a performance exchange or innovative international co-creation focusing on accessibility or inclusion.

We are offering grants of €4,500 each to support ETC member theatres in developing collaborative projects towards climate neutrality. This grant aims to encourage creative and flexible collaborations among ETC member theatres that explore, test, or implement aspects of the ETC Theatre Green Book — whether in buildings, productions, or operations. We want to give you the space to experiment, exchange ideas, and strengthen your sustainability journey.

In the season 2026/2027, ETC will support up to two new European contemporary drama texts and their international trajectory by circulating them within its membership and financially participating in their translation into English, thus expanding its pool of interesting contemporary texts from all over Europe.

ETC covers travel costs and per diems for up to €1,000 for a staff member working in an ETC Member Theatre, while the sending theatre keeps employing and paying their staff member for the duration of the mobility.
