Žad Novak

Žad joined ETC in September 2023, advancing through different positions in areas of project management and administration. She holds a BA in German Language and Comparative Literature (with a minor in Theatre Studies) from the University of Glasgow, and a Joint MA in European Societies, Politics and Culture from University of Göttingen and University of Groningen. Before joining the European Theatre Convention, Žad spent 8 years as a project-based assistant director in various theatres across Croatia, Scotland and Germany, as well as a festival support for the Edinburgh Fringe Society. Her interests include dramaturgy, translations and supporting new up and coming generations of theatre professionals in the internationalisation of their careers.
