The ETC Roadshow facilitates the international promotion and representation of ETC Member Theatres and their theatre productions in key sector events in Europe and beyond, as well as the digital promotion of performances available for touring.
Two Kinds of Grants
- Travel grants: the delegates of the Member Theatres not only have the opportunity to present their theatre’s programme abroad and promote the ETC but also to meet with artists from the respective country and develop new connections. These travel grants can be used to visit another ETC Member Theatre, theatres around Europe which may be interested in the work of ETC or to sector events/festivals in order to advocate for your theatre and the ETC. Theatres travelling thanks to an ETC Roadshow grant are asked to complete a short evaluation report following the visit.
- Translation & subtitling grants: ETC awards grants to support the translation and/or subtitling of the promotion videos or part-/full-length recording of theatre productions available for touring at ETC Member theatres, in order to facilitate international artistic exchanges despite the current travel restrictions. The videos can then be shared with other ETC members and featured on the ETC website.
